By trying to take a shortcut in order to make things move faster for our dream to unfold, we may miss an important opportunity to meet someone or learn something that will be essential in why our dream turns out to be so successful.

 I realized lately that it was taking a little more than my daily care routine to get through the day.I feel I always have to remind myself that I am “sensitive” and that means to others feelings, to spirit as well as to earthly matters.

Today in a meditation I heard;”Everyone is going through something right now in the shift to an even higher vibration. The advice is to rest and take care of yourselves and try not to take things too seriously as they too will pass and this is only a change, things won’t be like this for ever.”

If you are feeling tired and in need of more self care than what is normally required please don’t fight it. Take time to rest and laugh since according to the Angels, we are all going through a major change to something better.

After reading people for over 10 years now I have noticed a repetitive message that I wanted to share. When the loved ones who have crossed over come to me they show me that they do a life review. During this review they are either happy with the way they lived their life or they have sorrow for things they did that left “hurt” behind. After this message they always say they wished they would have shown their love more, by saying “I love you,” and by showing it in any way that they could. One other important message they share is that they wished they would have laughed more. They say they feel they took life too seriously.  I try to remember this message in regards to my own life and if I don’t remember, they remind me.

A couple of years ago I was frustrated with my teenage daughter who was going through some “growing pains”. I sat in my car feeling like I was on the verge of getting angry at her when a sprit I just read (a mother that crossed when her children were in high school) said to me, “At least you are alive and you can be there for her. From this side, when I see my daughter upset  I want tell her I love her and no matter what she is going through we will make it better. Then I want to remind her to laugh even through her pain because that is a choice and it will help her heal faster and empower her. I want to remind her that she is in charge; life doesn’t happen to her, she happens to life.” After I heard this message I went home and told my husband that we were going to love our daughter not hate her through this “phase” of her life. It was an intention I felt strongly through my heart and soul and it felt so much better than what I was feeling earlier. So together we went upstairs to my daughters room and we said, “Sweet heart we know you are going through some things where you are trying to be more independent and we want you to know that most of our friends say that they hate their teenagers while they are in this phase of their lives but we have made the decision that we are going to love you through this.  No matter what you have done or what you may do in the future, we want you to know we will always love you through whatever it is you are going through.”  She looked up with tears of relief and said, “Oh thank you mommy, thank you.”  Latter we did just as the spirit earlier reminded me to do, we watched Ellen Degeneres for a while and we laughed. That always cheers us up.

I hope this story helps you today in some way. I realize life hands us some huge challenges sometimes and that there are a lot of things going on with our country and possibly with our health or a loved one’s health or even money issues, but just for today remember people from the other side still wish that with all these things going on, that they could come back and love and laugh more.  “At least you are still here.”  So what are you going to do about it?  If you need to rest, cry or get mad, go ahead and do so I am all for letting out those emotions.  Just remember after to love and laugh, you will be so happy that you did.

I heard about a lady today that I used to work with that has been saying “not so nice things” about me.

I breathed in before reacting and saw this woman as sad and not happy with herself.   I sent her a prayer that she may find her way. I am at peace and it feels so great!

What if just for right now you knew that everything that you have done on this journey was meant to be therefore there were no mistakes.  What if by knowing this, you didn’t have to beat yourself up for things you wished you would have done differently.  You are on the right path at the right time always, there are no blocks-only challenges and we eventually learn what we came here to learn.  God and our Angels are so patient with us while we are learning and would like us to be kinder to ourselves while we are learning.

While praying for somethings today I felt fear overwhelm my being…I heard “Trust me.” I knew it was God’s way of telling me you don’t need to know how this will turn out just trust me, you are in good hands and I will not let you fall. Then later I saw a license plate that read, “Trust Me.”

Time to let go and let God…feels good to surrender..♥

I had an encounter with a harsh family member yesterday who has been drinking a great deal.
After the blow I sought rest and was reminded of this, “When times are challenging and energy around you seems “intense/harsh”, make a gratitude list, pamper and remember to laugh.

This allows the negative energy to dissipate and the positive energy to rise.” It’s something I wrote five years ago after dealing with a betrayal of some close friends and I felt drawn to share it with you today.

You are a survivor, a conqueror and a winner.

My new definition of a light worker is, “Someone who does more than is required.”

I always see light workers going the extra mile to be sure the help they are providing is of “high quality”.
Good job light workers!
Just be sure to give some back to yourselves so you can of service but not a “servant”.
Servants act as doormats to others and feel drained because they are unbalanced due to lack of self care.

It is more than okay to fill yourself up so when you do help others you are at your best!

In writing today I had a sense that I needed to share what I have experienced in the past three years. I feel some of you may be going through this and I hope these words encourage you to keep going.

In running my own company I feel I have been extremely blessed. Some of you who know my assistant America. She and I always say, “We have the best clients in the world!” Because we do and it is because of them we have grown since 2002 on just word of mouth alone. That is an amazing task in itself.

Yet as businesses do, we have had our share of growing pains and we have learned an excellent word to help us deal with the changes, “Laughter.” I highly recommend it to anyone going through an “uneasy” time in their life. These growing pains, once we have let go of our control of them, were merely changes that landed us where it was we needed to be.

As I wrote this month reflecting on what has made us so successful I heard “Right Dream, Right Team.”

Some times we have a dream that we want to make happen because our family wanted it for us or because we thought it was the “right” direction to go. When it didn’t fulfill us or take off like we had planned we may have wondered why. If you are anything like me you might have even blamed yourself. “What’s wrong with me that I can’t manifest this?” This is what I used to ask myself. Let’s agree to step away from blame, it really serves no purpose. Let us instead ask ourselves, “Is this the right Dream? Is this the dream that is in my heart? Is this what I have dreamt of doing since I was little but I keep talking myself out of it only to work on something else that is not fulfilling me? Better yet, on your highest energy of the day take a pen and paper and write down this question. “What do I want?” “What is my passion of passions?” You will have the answer. It will be a better answer than any psychic will ever be able to offer you. Why? Because deep inside all of us, our spirit always has the answer.

Next, ask yourself, “Do I have the right team?” Are you allowing others to help you? Are you gathering people that will support your dream? If not, describe the kind of team you need. What attributes will they need to posses in order to allow this dream to take flight?

While your idea is taking off use this as a touch stone. “Right Dream? Right Team?” Use it as your spiritual GPS system to guide you in the right direction.

I promise that you will be more fulfilled when you are moving in the direction of what it you are dreaming of. Be patient with yourself along the way and remember to laugh like America and I do. Let go of control and trust. You will land exactly where it is you need to be.

While going through a huge challenge, a good friend told me to love myself more. She added, “No matter what you are going through, loving yourself more will help your situation get better. This is true for any problem.” She was so right. The situation I was in looked really hopeless and I was in too much pain to move forward. But I took her advice and started to find new ways to love myself. Whether it was treating myself to a foot rub or taking a bath with candles, I went the extra mile to treat myself better than I had in the past and much to my surprise, three months latter the problem resolved all by itself. I didn’t have to lift a finger to “make things happen.” The problem literally dissipated.

I wanted to say thank you to Alyssa. You were right, loving yourself can’t hurt the situation, in can only make it better.

I feel February is a good month for you. I feel in the past your energy has been very high when you are first placed in a position and then it goes down for some reason and I feel it’s because you need to be in a position that changes all the time. Something that is not routine for you is better for your personality. A variety if better for you because you feel very creative. Having a position in marketing or a position where you have to think on your feet would be very good for you. Like most of us I don’t think you need your Angels to tell you which way to go. I feel you just need to ask them for the courage to follow the direction that you are hearing in your heart. It may seem impossible when you think about it but all ideas seem impossible at the very beginning. Give yourself the permission to just try this new direction and see where it takes you. Know that you will make mistakes as it is new and we all make mistakes along the way. I can see the outcome of your labor and it will vastly make up for any mistakes you make along the way. It will be well worth it!

*Just a word of caution: I would advise you not to give so much of yourself away to others. It is admirable to give to others but not to the extent where it is affecting your own happiness. You are beautiful the way you are and people need just to be around you to know how loving you truly are.

Good luck to you and keep believing in yourself for there is nothing that you can not accomplish with the help of your angels!

I just read an article where more kids are being diagnosed with ADD in schools.

Just curious if they have looked at the correlation with the removal of the extra activities like music and art and wood shop that made school bearable for those “creative” children. So they remove the art programs and now those kids are bored and appear to have ADD. It’s something they should look at before labeling these kids.

I pulled Angel Cards this morning and they were; Retreat, Body Care, Meditation and Answered Prayers. Sometimes when we are asking for our deepest desires to come to fruition we want to hear an action step. We ask “What can I do to “make” this happen?” But sometimes there is no action required. We can try hard to “make” it happen when there may be no action needed at this time. The answer may be to rest.

I know when I first opened my business I saw visions of myself standing in front of people in a class of 40 or 50 people in a forum setting. I tried so hard to “make” that happen but to my disappointment it didn’t happen. When I pulled my angel cards they read, Rest-Body Care-Drink More Water. I laugh now thinking back on this but I really thought my angel cards were broken. As I shared this idea with a friend she asked if I was following the guidance of the cards. “No,” I said foolishly, “I thought I was supposed to follow this vision I had been seeing.” “Maybe these are the steps to follow in order for that vision to happen” she said. So I tried it. Rest, body care, and drink more water. I followed this guidance and slowly but surely the vision I had saw earlier came to fruition.

We are such a “doing” society and such a reactive society when sometimes what is needed it to wait and be proactive rather than “reactive”.

As I read the cards I chose for today I see that the same message is coming as I ask what do my clients need to know.

We know what we want but the Angels know what we need. Lets trust them together that they are providing us with the right message that we needed to hear today in order to see what path we need to follow to see our dreams come to pass. In addition please know many times their vision for us is so much bigger than we could have ever imagined, so trust them. You are in good hands my friend.

Yesterday I saw a lady at the store and she was struggling with her shopping cart. Things were falling out of it, her purse dropped spilling everything out onto the floor and she looked distraught. I asked her if she needed help and she said, “Sure, if you have the time.” I helped her pick some things up and she mentioned she was having a hard day. That things weren’t working out for her and she needed a break. I shared with her that I knew a lot of people that were feeling that way lately. I suggested she order in dinner for her family and just sit back with a warm blanket and watch a funny movie. She agreed, stopped shopping and started to leave, before she left she turned and looked back at me and said, “I guess we all just need a break sometimes.” “I agree”, I said right back to her. Maybe you need a break today. A day with no hustle and bustle, no rules on what you should and shouldn’t be doing. If so give yourself a much needed to break today.

Be kind to yourself, you need it and your deserve it.

I am dealing with a challenge this week. I asked the angels how I could maintain my happiness while someone close to me was having problems with an addiction. They clearly said that I needed to do things for me in order to keep my energy higher. They kept repeating, “Do things for you not against anyone. The feeling to payback people for the hurt they have caused you through out their addiction will never bring you the peace you desire but doing things “for yourself” will.” They said to focus on the things that are bringing me joy in my life, like my beautiful children. I said some days that is not easy. They said, “True but it is a choice to be sad or happy about your situation and keep reminding yourself of this fact and it will bring you great power and will eventually help things shift for you.”

I share this with you as I heal and grow in hopes that it will help one of you today in any challenges you are having.

May this bring you great strength in knowing that you too have angels around you who are encouraging you to live life to the fullest. Let the idea sink in that you were guided to this blog today because the angels are showing you that no matter what your situation is, you can and will get through it.

The other day I was feeling sad and afraid and I heard this while searching for an answer. “How can the thoughts of Heaven help you if your thoughts aren’t Heaven like?” Following this I heard, “You are always surrounded by helpers, The universe is more generous than you’ll ever know, You are never in the wrong place at the wrong time, There is never a “force” that is against you..only one for you, and there is always help within your reach.” I felt immediately comforted and changed my thoughts to those mentioned. Do you ever feel like you are moving forward but the inability to see what is coming brings fear to your inner being?

The last two months I have been asking the Angels for their help because I felt like I was driving through a heavy fog. I knew where I wanted to go however it was not clear to me how I was going to get there.

Therefore I moved slowly only taking a couple of steps at a time, then I could see the next couple of steps and I moved slowly to those as well. All the while I was overwhelmed with polarity of feelings; both excitement and fear. I was excited because once I took a step forward and followed my intuition, the people I needed to meet with were magically there as if waiting for me.
I felt fear because before I actually made the step to move, I questioned whether I should venture to this new path. As the second step to the path would reveal itself to me the next part of the journey would begin and I would have to start the process all over again.

By the third time I ventured into new territory I found I still felt fear when taking the first couple of steps. Once again, I knew where I wanted to go but I couldn’t see if I was going in the right direction. I couldn’t see “beyond the fog” and I could feel the fear arise within me.

It was then I heard “Ye of little faith, have we not shown you that we are here with you every time you began your journey. Why do you fear we would leave alone on this third journey?” Mind you, the voice I heard within my mind was that of my own voice but spoken with a higher sense of “knowing” and self assurance. I knew my angels were speaking to me. I let out a giggle and said, “Yes you have shown me. I will trust and let go that you are helping me this time as well and I thank you for all of your help.” I am learning to capture the fear when it begins and say to myself, “Julie. it is normal to be afraid but we are going to at least try. And who knows it might even be fun.”

I hope this message brings comfort to you at this time on your journey. I am sure there are quite a few of you starting new journeys of your own. Please know your Angels are there with you. Call upon them and move slow and steady and soon, you too will be through the fog very soon.

One thing I know is that we all have a resilient spirit and that when we are alone it forces us to touch our spirits and the depths of our soul in order to come out with the message we need to find healing and strength.
The reason I am saying this is because as admirable as it is to want to help and be there for people, we must know that when we cannot be there for someone that God and the Angels are more able to give the message they want to convey to the person.
In other words, your friend will be okay even if you are not there as hard as that is to believe there is strength inside each and every one of us that reaches beyond human understanding.
We are more than happy to pray for your friend and please have them email if they need any help and please also keep in mind that if you can’t be with them God and the Angels can and know there is great love and strength in knowing that.

Dear Kathleen,

You are such a strong woman and I admire all that you have gone through and all that you are going through right now.
I keep hearing that song, “The Eye of the Tiger.” I know that your angels and loved ones are there for you and I can see them guiding your doctors so that pleases me. I also feel it’s a great time to get a book to read that takes you far way from the realities of the world if only for little moments of the day. It must be something light hearted and very imaginative.

I realize the world is going through some changes right now but I also know we will get through whatever is coming our way and that it’s only here to makes us stronger and closer as a society. In the mean time light workers like yourself need some play time in order to rise above everything that is going on.

As we are all stepping on new grounds I feel urged to share the need to believe in yourself while you are reaching for what it is you desire at this time. I think of the mentors I have had while growing my business and many of them while faced with doubts had to work on affirmations that worked for them. I too find I have to reach for affirmations during a growth period. Why? Because the voice of doubts come into my mind. “You can’t do this.” “The idea is too big how will ever achieve this Julie?” These are just a few of the thoughts that enter my mind when I try new things.

Last year while I was putting my vision board together (a technique I had learned about from the book the Secret) when my son John came in. He glanced over at the board and asked me what I was doing. I shared with him that I was placing things I wanted to bring into my life on the board. As I continued to place the pictures on the board John said in a loving way,

“None of those things are going to come true if you don’t believe in yourself.”

I was stunned and laughed as the words came out of his mouth because I knew he was right. I finished the board and asked myself if I believed in myself. At that time I heard, “No”, so I worked on ways I could believe in myself. I started by gently moving in the direction I wanted to go. If I came up upon something that wasn’t working no matter how hard I worked on it, I would move another direction that was working.

This was a big deal for me. I would normally go throw a tantrum and get upset about something not unfolding for me the way I wanted it to. I admit I had times when I even questioned if the Angels where helping me at all because on the surface I didn’t see any movement. By just focusing on believing in my dream and in myself I was able to choose another direction that was working. I found that the path the Angels where leading me to was better than where I was trying to go anyway.

I have wanted to write about this for some time now and then my sister sent me this story and I took that as a “sign” to send this out. Here is the wonderful story about my nephew Dylan. May we all learn that sometimes when taking on a new task it is important to talk to ourselves while we are growing. My sister wrote:

“Dylan wanted to help me with laundry the other night, and I was resistant because I just wanted to get it done fast. But, I decide to let him help, I gave him his shirts to hang up, put some items in his drawers, then I said, “Okay, take SP’s shirts and hang them in his closet, but it is a big pile, so just take a few at a time.” He takes about 6 which is a pretty big load for Dylan. As he goes walking by me, I hear him say,” I believe in myself, I believe in myself” It was the cutest thing ever!”

Let us all learn from Dylan today that when we get nervous that we can’t accomplish something instead of listening to the negative thoughts that tend to come into our minds let us replace them with, “I believe in myself, I believe in myself.”

Hello Sue,

In looking over your question I see that a move would be very good for you. I do feel your fear of not knowing when and how you are moving but that fear is normal in a big move like this.

I like you in a warm and dry climate, for some reason I feel this suits you the best. I would look for some type of movement in July or August; this is when I feel it will be coming.

I also see you traveling but I am not sure if you travel right now or if you will be in the future. You are very good with people, I feel you are very sweet and when you work around people they really like you.

I also see you around a friend or partner when you do there, so if you have someone you are moving with I see that, if not then you are going to meet someone soon after you move there.

I hope this helps you find peace with your future plans.

Dear Erin,

I really feel first off that you have a mother’s spirit on the other side that is helping you in this area. Call upon her often as she is around you always. You took care of her and now she is taking care of you.

I also feel that you have much to teach. I would advise you to start teaching small groups and then slowly gather people to help you and then you will grow your classes. The key will be finding the right people to
work with you and then to delegate tasks to them. I feel there is paperwork to do. If you don’t have a logo yet I would get one. It feel like butterfly energy on or around the logo.
I feel its time to work on flyer’s to let people know about your readings as well as your classes.

You are very good at helping people and I feel this is why you will make such a great teacher. I would also advise you to begin writing if you haven’t all ready. I feel people will want to read your material and see that it will bring them much solitude.

I wish you well on your business endeavors and see that you will be very successful.

Hello Everyone!

I woke up this morning and felt like I should take it slow this morning. I have lots of contemplating about the New Year. I have been feeling that this is going to be one of our biggest years yet here at Peace and Serenity. We are going to offer more classes, hire more readers so that we can better meet the needs of clients that want readings in the evenings and on weekends. We are also heading down to the “I Can Do It Conference in San Diego.” So lots of things are happening here. The FBI cases we are working on have had great breakthroughs and I attribute that to your prayers along with our willingness to want to help these families find closure and healing. So thank you so much for your help!

For those of you who know me, you know that my kids are the most important thing to me. I love that I am able to spend time with them as they grow and I value my time with them which is why I usually don’t work in the evenings or on weekends. I have recently reconnected with my love of children and have started writing children’s books. I absolutely love writing these stories and hope to get these books published some time this year.

With 2009 ending I give a big sigh of relief because I know that this year brings new promises for a brighter and much more hopeful future for us all. I don’t know about all of you but as I move forward with all of my projects though most of the time I am hopeful that they will come fruition at the right time and the right place, there are moments when I feel down and question the dream I have of being able to grow this company in order to touch more people. When this happens to me I can, if I allow it, get really down with those thoughts that are coming into my mind. “Are you sure you are a good writer?” “Do you really want to help with missing persons cases, are you qualified enough to do that?” On and on these thoughts can come if like I said I allow them to. Many times know, along with the Angels help, I simply allow the fear to come knowing that this is all normal. We all fear something that is new. I wanted to share a couple of things that work for me during this time in hopes that if you have something that you are bringing into your life that may look impossible you can use some of these tools as well.

One of my favorite things to do it to talk to myself until the fear dissipates. I once heard that Louise Hays says to herself, “This is only change, you are safe.” I love this one and use it often sometimes as many times as 20 times a day depending on much I need it. Then I practice self care, eat better then I did before, go on a walk or read inspiring quotes from those whom I admire like Albert Einstein, Andy Warhol, Ellen, or Oprah. I also do what I call borrow inspiration from others until I find the inspiration I am able to move forward. I do this by watching movies like “Field of Dreams”, “The Express”, “Blind Side” to name a few. My favorite person to watch is Susan Boyle when she sang “I Dreamed a Dream.” My heart opens up and I get a feeling that anything is possible as I watch her come alive on stage. I am so thankful to Susan Boyle that she came to us at a time where we all were feeling that the time to dream was over and the future looked so bleak. When she sang on that stage she did more than just sing, she inspired all of us. If you can, take a moment today to watch this. As you watch it try this; close your eyes and feel the feeling of having your dreams come true what ever they may be. Allow your Angels to be of assistance in helping you feel the dream come into a reality. When you are done journal and allow yourself to hold that feeling again when ever you are faced with fear or doubt. Go back to the place of knowing that your dream is in your heart for a reason. Listen to the dream and slowly work on it and allow it to come because it will and when it does, you will be just as inspiring as Susan Boyle was to those who crossed her path. You can then share your story about how your dreams came true for you with others. Hold on to your dream, listen to your heart, and allow the Angels to help it unfold and the right place and the right time for you. If you do this, you will have great joy in your life. This is my wish for you today.

Well this year is coming to such quick end. I can’t believe that within one year I have had experienced so many wonderful changes. It all started with a new assistant, America of whom many of you know already. She is my right arm. There is so much I couldn’t accomplish if she weren’t with me. Thanks America for jumping on board! Then we have Tami who is helping out with the blog of which I am so happy about, thanks Tami. Tami is taking a bit of time off so please excuse any spelling errors. Lol We have also moved to the down town area of beautiful Campbell where I hope to always be, it’s beautiful there! To top off the end off the year we had an amazing Certification Class up at Land of Medicine Buddha where I had the privilege of training some beautiful psychics! Thanks again to all you in the October group. What an amazing group you were! By the time the four days were up everyone had given a reading just like a pro! Look for the news of these up coming psychic in our Newsletter.

We have been listening to what all of you want to see more of therefore we will have new things coming up for the year 2010. We are offering more classes. Some of the classes will be one day seminars, we are also offering a certification course where people can be trained to be readers if they so choose, and lastly we will be traveling to different book stores in order to educate more people about the angels and loved ones that are around them at all times.

These are indeed exciting times but not without insecurities that’s for sure. I like all of you need to keep praying that all is well and I ask the Angels daily to send me signs. I am sharing this with all of you because I imagine with the world changes that you are all feeling the energy of fear and doubt that is lurking around every corner of the media as am I. Rest assured this period is almost over. I journaled about this change about two years ago and wrote that it would be a good change once complete and I wrote that in 2009 we would have to work through our fear and that this process would be good for our faith. Those who worked on their faith in making it stronger would be promoted in 2010. As I review this message I can’t help letting out a big sigh of relief. I think we are all ready for some good feeling energy and its coming so hang in there.

I also wrote that big companies would break down and that small business would start up. These businesses would help balance the technical period, which was fine to have but that we needed more artist, healers, singers and writers, more creativity needed to be shared along with it so that we could stay “connected.” I wrote that these companies would start because people would wake up to their true purpose and begin to work in the field that they were meant to work in for their true life purpose. For those of you where you have been forced to start a career please be open to the fact that no matter how scarey this change was it did not happen to harm your rather it was to help you be in a place where you will be more content. We will be asking for stories like this for the January Newsletter so if you have had changes where you were laid off and have started and new job or your own business only to find out that where you are is where you wanted to be all long anyway, please write in and share it with us. I am sure it will uplift others to do the same.

To all of you there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we are almost there! My advice to you would be to practice self care, try to surround yourself with positive songs movies and food and people. Also remember to call on your Angels as often as you need to. This has worked for me and I hope it will help you as well. Once I remember this is just a change that we are all going through, it helps me to stay proactive and not reactive to the situation. Sometimes that requires us to slow down before we make our next move and that’s okay. I have learned that sometimes slower is faster.

I would like to end with thanking all of you for in-trusting me with your readings. I have grown in so many ways just by hearing the messages that loving come through in your readings. Though I rarely remember a reading and its intiorty, I always walk away with knowing that the loving energy is always on the others side to guide us and help us as we make our journey back with them home one day.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you,

Well it has been an amazing year with lots of gifts. I look back and I recall asking for the Angels for a fun group of people to work with and they answered my prayer in such a big way.

For certification class last October I was blessed to meet a wonderful group of people and the class itself was so much fun, I honestly have not laughed that hard in ages. Thank you October group! You were amazing!

I am so thankful to be doing what it is I do. I love teaching and want to do more of that this year. I have a book about Angels and loved ones on the others side that I would like to finish in the next 12 months. I also have cases that I am working on and I am keeping that kind of work close to my heart. Some of you have asked me to keep you posted on these cases. I will only do so with the families permission. I only do what it is they are all comfortable with after all this is their healing process. Just please know doing this type of work has made me honor life itself more than I ever did before, life is a precious gift. I will always be grateful to the families that have come to me for this help and I admire each family member for their love and the strength they are giving each other as they are healing through this.

As I leave you today, I would like to leave you with this blessing. May you always feel the love around you, may you always know you are not alone, may you reach for your dreams no matter how impossible they may seem, and may you seek joy each and every day.

Hi Everyone. I wanted to share an experience with you. First let me start by sharing with you that I went to the mailbox on Monday and thought about how I didn’t want to open it, there were probably bills inside that needed to be paid. I even thought for a moment, “I hate that mail box!” Then I realized what I had thought about and I laughed “out loud”. I then changed my thoughts and said, “there is always money for me when I open my mail box.” I only thought it once but since then I have received $94 in my mail, or as my friend Anna from England would say, “in the post”.

Just wanted to share and see if anyone else wanted to try that as well.

Sometimes we ask the Angels for help and things don’t appear to be answered.

As I have worked with the Angelic Realm officially now for the past 6 years I have absolutely loved the way the Angels have answered every beckon call that I have put out to them. I can honestly say, as I look back to the years prior, that they have answered each of my requests with amazing creativity and brought me to higher places in my life – more than I could have ever imagined.

Admittedly there were times when I doubted that the Angels were helping me. Why? Well at the time of some of my request’s I asked the Angels help me with something and then everything changed for what I thought was for the worst. It wasn’t until I had a chance to look back and see that the change was in my favor. Once I asked the Angels to bring me to a higher level of income. Immediately, after I sent the request, I got into an argument with a friend of whom I am still not speaking to, and my husband informed me of some decisions that were being made at his place of employment that would only add to his work load. At that moment I jokingly asked the Angels if they had mixed up my request with someone’s else’s, knowing too well that sometimes changes (even if we don’t like them) need to be made in order for the request to be fulfilled. Later everything unfolded in the way it needed to in order for me to move to the next level of my business. The friend I got into an argument, had been drinking again, I had hopes of bringing her onto my business. Though I still don’t like that we are not talking, I know that for years I have tried to help her and now this separation is allowing us both the time we need in order to heal. My husband’s job change only motivated me to want to grow my business so that he could one day come on board to join me.

Another story that I like to tell shows exactly how we have good intentions and pray for growth and something horrible happens to us. I have a client that I was reading a couple years ago – she wanted to start her own business. In the reading I saw her having her own decorating business and she confirmed with me that yes that was the type of business she wanted to start. I let her know that I saw it to be successful and asked her to try and call upon the Angels for help with it as the Angels were showing me in the reading that they would love to help her. So Stacey started her business and it was growing quickly. Within three months Stacey shared with me that she was looking for an office because now she was growing out of her home office. I was overjoyed to hear the news that the Angels were helping Stacey with her new business. Then exactly one month after Stacey called me to inform me that she was doing well, I received a phone call from her. Stacey was frantic and in tears, I could barely hear what she was saying. “He left me.” She said loudly. “My husband! He left me for someone else!” “Why is this happening? Why aren’t the Angels helping me Julie?” I too began to feel fearful. My “human side” was questioning this as well. Yet I know what to do in situations like this so I took a deep breath and asked the Angels why this happened to her and what they wanted me to tell her. The Angels told me that her husband was a con artist and they showed me that he had been married before and stolen money from the women that he had been with before Stacey. So I shared this with Stacey. I also added that I didn’t think he was the person that she thought he was. Lastly, I let Stacey know that the Angels were showing me that with in the next six months time, she would have proof of what the Angels were telling me about her husband. I added that it looked to me that this was all happening for the good of Stacey even if it didn’t appear that way at this time. She took a deep breath and thanked me. She kept in touch via email and I knew she had the support of friends and family to help her heal through this. Little by little she kept working on her business until she was able to move to location downtown. It was about five months latter that Stacey called me frantic again but this time she was excited. Stacey told me that there was an article in the local paper about a man that had embezzled over $477,000 from the company where he worked. Stacey said that the paper listed the the man’s name and the company that he stole the money from. The person the paper listed was Stacey’s ex husband. Stacey is now remarried and has a wonderful business of her own. Stacey often shares with me that it wasn’t an easy thing to go through, but now she understands why the Angels allowed for everything to happen the way it did.

Are you making changes in your life? Are you calling upon the Angels for help? If so please know that once you ask them for help no matter what happens after the request is in your favor even if it doesn’t look like it at the time. When I am going through these changes I often mantra, “I trust and let go that the Angels are helping me, even if it doesn’t look like it at this time. I trust and let go.”

Wanted to share something with you really quick, because I know you will appreciate it! I had such a horrible day yesterday both at work and personally. So when the alarm went off this morning I was just
dreading getting out of bed and going to work.
I had my cell phone on the bed because I use it for my alarm and it was open, face up. All of sudden I hear this little beeping because my kitten Max had stepped
repeatedly on the keypad.
So I grabbed the phone so I could shut it….
and the numbers he stepped on were “444″.

One day, back in April of 2009, my assistant America and I were getting ready to head to the “I can Do It” conference in San Diego. We had to order some supplies ahead of time so that we could have them with us when we made the trip. I ordered my meditation CD, “The Angelic Connection” in hopes that it would make its way to certain people who needed to hear it while we were at the conference. I asked the Angels for help in making this possible.

The day came when the meditation CDs arrived at my home. I purchased a large order so when the CDs came there were about seven heavy boxes at my front door. The day was quite hot so I told my children that we would just leave them there until the sun went down. We shut the front door and went about our day. My son came out of his room and said, “I am excited about your CDs mom.” I told him thanks and he asked then if he could help me carry them into the garage because he was concerned about them being outside for so long. I told him not to worry, that it would be okay, still he continued that he just wanted to make sure they were stacked appropriately so that they wouldn’t fall over. Knowing how caring he always is I said sure lets check on them. As we opened the front door again, I gasped – there was a flower, an iris, lying on top of the boxes of the CDs. I looked at my son and he was just as amazed as I was. He suggested that maybe a neighbor came by and put the flower there. I looked up and down the street for signs of the flowers somewhere thinking maybe one of neighbors had the flowers in their yard somewhere, but I found nothing.

I told my son that earlier in the day I asked the Angels to help me with the CDs – to make sure they got in the hands of the people that needed them. I also named the “The Angelic Connection” in hopes that it would act as a bridge for people to feel the connection from the Angels to themselves. I told my son that I needed to go online and see what the flower meant; maybe it was a sign from the Angels. As I looked up the meaning of the flower I found myself streaming tears of joy as I read this:

The iris’s history is rich, dating back to Ancient Greek times when the Greek Goddess Iris, the messenger of the gods and the personification of the rainbow, acted as the link between heaven and earth.

The Angelic Connection was made hoping to be a bridge for people to get to their Angels. I asked for a sign from the Angels and they showed me by placing an Iris me right on the boxes of CDs. The iris means: link between heaven and earth.Could this be that my CD is the link the bridge between Heaven and Earth? I hope so. I believe it is. The sign from the Angels to me was just confirmation.

Are you looking for a sign today? If so, I hope that the Angels show you how amazing you are and that whatever idea you are getting, whether its to make a vase, take a picture, write a poem or start a blog; that you “know” that the Angels are there with you. Lovingly guiding you along the way.

Dear Julie,

I had an amazing experience today with a healer that I go to for bodywork. At the end of my session, he said there was an angel that wanted to come to me. Kaeylarae, Angel of Peace, and he surrounded me with her loving presence. Then she asked him to spray me with “Serenity” and it felt wonderful. And then, of course, I thought of you and your website Peace and Serenity. How cool, I thought, that I have Julie in my life.

So, I wanted to share with you that I appreciate you and all the loving support and guidance from the Angels.

Things are really taking off here at Peace and Serenity. It seems like just last Christmas I was talking about doing a commercial. It was a nice thought but then, but when I had to consider the finances it didn’t seem like it was gong to happen. Just recently I met with my good friend Josh who has been a huge help to me when it comes to the PR work for my business. I always tell people that I love doing my readings and classes but the business side of things is not my “favorite” part. I used to try handling it all on my own but over time I have, with the Angels help, learned how to delegate things to other people. I feel it took being able to trust myself and the others helping me and of course trust that the Angels would bring the right people to help me at the right time…the latter I am still working on by the way.

Well Josh is one of the people that I have worked with and learned to trust and I am so pleased that I have because he is a multi-talented individual that doesn’t take no for an answer and I needed someone like that. Someone to say, “Sounds good to me, let’s give it a try.” You know when you first receive an idea, it’s a bit new, and to share it with others at the beginning can make you feel a little vulnerable – after all you never know if someone is going to give you that look and say, “I don’t think your idea is going to work.” As they tense their eyebrows. Not that I have ever let that type of thing stop me before, but I will have to say, it has slowed me down a couple of times.

So here is Josh at the right place and the right time once again. We are now ready to grow and could use some video taping for a commercial for the website. We wanted something that people could watch as to understand what it is I do. Josh not only knew how to work the camera but he also had a camera we could use. He came up with a plan of how this would all work and put the commercial together in the correct sequence. With Josh’s help I didn’t need to hire the service that I originally looked at; thus it made it affordable to do the commercial, something back at Christmas time I would have never thought would have been possible. That just goes to show when we call upon the Angels for help we find that the Universe is much more giving and creative than we could ever imagine.

With my own logical mind, I couldn’t have planned this commercial any better. It reminds me a lot of the story about how my mediation CD came about. I went one direction and nothing moved for me even with all of my effort. Calling upon the Angels showed me how to let go and trust, and with their help something better came along. I hope this touches you today and acts as a reminder that if there is something your are hoping for; a wish or dream in your heart that you want to bring to fruition, if you feel stuck rather than give up that you call upon the Angels. I promise you it will be well worth your while to give it a try. With a little bit of trust and an open mind on your part, the Angels will place you in the right place at the right time and you will see the beauty of their love and support unfold before your very eyes.

Follow your Passion of Passions and be aware of the signs!

Some of you may not be aware of this, but my passion of passions is working with children. When I think back to age five, I wanted to open a school where kids could express themselves freely and as far back as I can remember, playing school where I was the teacher, was always a good time for me.

Recently I have been blessed enough to be redirected to my passion of passions. I believe it was way back in 1999, when I wrote my first children’s book. I was with my children who were about 2 and 4 at the time. It was a wonderful experience. I had placed the story in one of my journals and had reflected on it from time to time, but had never thought to do anything with it.

About two years ago I began to want to publish the book so I started looking for an illustrator. I tried a few people to illustrate the book, but the timing seemed off for them. Then last April I went to the “I can Do It Conference” and met a talented artist there. This woman and I shared a love for working with children and she mentioned to me that one of her life long dreams was to illustrate a children’s book. I remained quiet as I contemplated telling her about my book. Then the woman mentioned that she had just recently finished a poster for the local play of “Peter Pan” so I took that as my sign (for those of you who are not familiar with my “sign” of Peter Pan please see my story in an earlier blog).

I then shared with this woman that I had a children’s book that I wanted an illustrator for and that one of my signs was “Peter Pan” –she was amazed. We then spoke further about things we loved and she mentioned the movie, “Field of Dreams” –she said she loved it because it reminded of her of her Dad and his father. I mentioned to her then that I had three major signs, things that I look for to make sure I am on the “right” track. One is Peter Pan and the next one is the movie, Field of Dreams. The reason Field of Dreams is one of my signs is because I related so well to Kevin Costner’s character in that when he heard “the voice” he thought he was going crazy. I too heard a voice like that when I was first healing. I believe there are more details in “my story” on my website. I heard the Angels’ guidance on how to heal my life and I followed their advice which is what lead to me to work with the Angels.

Well this morning I met with my wonderful book agent and he is doing a great job in helping us to find a publisher for “The Night The Moon Was Hiding” which is the name of the book my children and I wrote back in ‘99.

On my way to meet the agent this morning I saw a license plate with the numbers 808 in the middle of the number sequence (my mom passed on August the 8th) so to me, that is always a sign that she is around. After we met I drove to me next appointment and in my mind I asked the Angels for a sign. Just then, a Dragon Fly flew by – yet another sign from my mother, for on the day that we had her eulogy there were a swarm of Dragon Flies, so much so that it felt like a cloud was over our heads. Then as the Dragon Fly flew away a white feather dropped on my car. I took the feather as a sign from my Angels. My eyes filled with tears felt from the joy in my heart and I thanked my Mother and the Angels out loud.

I hope this acts as a reminder to follow your passion of passions and to let you know that you also have Angels around you and loved ones that want to help you in any way that they can.

Its that time again! We’re answering your angel questions. Please write us, we’d love to answer yours!

Q: I’m feeling stuck on my writing. I guess this is what they call writers block. I’ve finished one young adult novel and was ready to be done with it, when I got a wild idea of changing the setting from 1971 to modern times. This is where I’m stuck. I can’t seem to find the desire to work on it. I’m ready to abandon the entire book and begin a new novel about a young teen who seeks information on the “magical” side of life. This mean angels, spirit guides, card readings, stone energy, dowsing, you get the idea. What do you recommend? Should I push through and re-write my finished novel set in 1971 and change it to modern times? Stay with the 1971 setting? Abandon the book for now? Start a new book? Oh yeah, is the world ready for my Emma Jean Picture Book Series?

A: Dear Frustrated Writer in Aptos: The good news is that I am hearing you are extremely “creative.” As I’ve shared with people who are creative (during Angel Readings), being creative can seem like both a gift as well as a curse. It’s a gift in that you are able to come up with thousands of ideas, but a curse because one usually doesn’t know where to start because many ideas just keep flowing in. How does this sound so far?

I’ve asked the Angels what very creative people should do and they’ve said this: Though this may be difficult at first, the creative person must follow one idea all the way through to completion. Ideas will continue to flow, of course, because with a very creative person, there is usually no way to get them to stop. If while working on a project another idea pops up, merely get a note book and write down the new idea to be finished later. The person must tell themselves it is perfectly okay to finish one idea at a time – there’s plenty of time to get this done. We encourage this kind of self talk to settle the person’s emotions from any anxiety that they may feel from receiving so many ideas at one time. In the long run it is best for the creative person to have as an assistant. This assistant must be task oriented in order to help the creative person carry their ideas through to completion.

In saying this I would advise you to work on the book that you feel the most excited about right now and follow it all the way through. In doing so, keep in mind that the other books will have their place and time.

Hello everyone. I hope all of you are enjoying your summer. Its such a special time of year when families get together to take their annual vacation to places near and far. So many memories are created during these few short months. With all of your special memories, I’m certain that many of you have an angel story that you hold very dear to you. And with that, I invite you to share your story with us. Below is an angel story that a client/friend shared with me, and something that I’d like to share with all of you. Many Blessings.

“The women’s group does move mountains. Things changed right after I left the group. I asked for signs and they all came like a tidal wave. When I came home from the group, Terry (my boyfriend) was so mad that when I walked through the door I could feel the wall of anger. When I asked him what was wrong he said, “you’re a liar, you told me you were going to a friend’s house not a woman’s prayer group.” *RED FLAG* The truth is, I wrote Julie’s name on my calendar, but I didn’t discuss it with him at all. He then said, “you’re keeping things from me.”

Let me give you some background to this story.

I’d been awake/working for 24 houre before going to the prayer group. I went to Terry’s house, slept for an hour and set my alarm to wake up on time (I didn’t want to be late to the prayer group). I was going to move my things out of Terry’s house and into my apartment on this particular day. I didn’t know how long the group meeting was going to last, but Terry demanded to know exactly how long I was going to be gone. I told him I didn’t know, but he refused to accept my answer so I told him one hour.

In the meantime, while I was gone, my son arrived at Terry’s house to help move my things. And when he arrived, Terry answered the door, let him in, and stormed to another part of the house, ignoring my son, because he was so angry at me. RED FLAG They proceeded to load the truck and when my son asked Terry where I was he said he did not know. So my son packed up some of my things, including my daughter’s bed, and left before I arrived. When I got to the house my son was gone and Terry was really upset. I asked him where my son was and he said he didn’t know and when I told him the bed was gone he was mad again, like my son was stealing from the house. He was appalled that he knew nothing about the move! RED FLAG But, in fact, Terry knew in advance that I’d planned to move out that day, he’d even offered to help a few days prior. But today, instead of helping me, he wanted to pick a verbal fight. I wasn’t in the mood to get into it with him and I refused to engage in the fight so he was angry, again, and said, “fine I will just leave.” So he left and I called my son to come back and he helped me move all my things. I took every thing I owned out of his house and I erased my schedule from his calendar because it was no longer any of his business. I left for good after that day!

Thank god for our woman’s prayer group. God and the angels do answer our prayers. The group was amazing and it was worth all the drama. Now I am going to live life drama free. I love all of you.”

My story about Peter Pan goes like this:

Five years ago I was betrayed by some of my friends. The betrayal left me beaten andI felt like I was going to have a nervous break down. I lost 40 lbs and I was barely holding on. One of the individuals that played a big part of the betrayal worked at a place with the name “Peter Pan” in it.

As I healed I felt stronger yet that name “Peter Pan” was like a conditioned response for me and I would get physically sick when I heard that name. When ever I was reminded of the betrayal, it felt like a knife in my stomach and a pain in my heart each time. Of course my children were young at the time this happened to me and the Peter Pan movie was popular for them so it was around all of the time. I prayed and prayed that one day I could hear “Peter Pan” without aching and being reminded of the most painful day of my life.

Two years after the betrayal I was on a great healing path but the name “Peter Pan” still brought up a “ping” in my heart. One day I decided to go to Ireland. Doreen Virtue was teaching a one day class there and then Gordon Smith (of whom I knew nothing about at the time) was to teach in the afternoon. So I purchased my ticket. Being Irish myself and having a father who when alive always wanted to go to Ireland but never got the chance, made me want to go even more. Even though it was a one day event and would cost a lot of money to go, I knew I had to go on this trip.

The day of the class I said a prayer that I would not expect anything from this day..I would only open up myself to be of service. Doreen spoke in the morning then we took a break and I thought I would leave after that, being one of her students I just wanted to help her.
Then something told me to stay so I did and I am so glad that I did because Gordon Smith is an amazing medium and I had no idea who he was when I signed up to help. After Gordon spoke the crowd stared to leave. I saw a woman out of the corner of my eye so I turned to face her. She said, “I was hoping to get a reading from either Doreen or Gordon today but I didn’t get called on.” Then she asked me if I did this kind of work? I told her I did Angel Readings and I would try to contact someone for her on the other side but that I hadn’t done it often, I had done those types of medium readings just a few times but I was willing to try.

I asked her for her hand and began the reading. I immediately felt my heart hurt and knew that this woman had someone she was missing that had crossed over to the other side. I then told the woman that I saw a little girl next to her. ”Yes” the woman said, “I lost my daughter” I told her that the little girl was showing me a garden and the woman said, “Yes I have been keeping a garden since she passed away.” I told her that the little girl seemed very happy that her mom had a garden and wanted her mom to keep it up. I told her some other things about the girl and that she loved her mommy and daddy very much. Before the reading was over I said, “There is one more thing she wants me to tell you. She is so happy now because she always wanted to fly, fly around in the sky like an Angel…no not an angel, like a fairy she tells me. Like a fairy like in the movie “Peter” and before I could say “Pan”, the woman screamed, “Pan! Like in the movie Peter Pan!!! Now I know you are talking to my daughter!!! That was her favorite movie!!” The woman was crying and I was crying.

She was crying because she heard from her daughter and I was crying for two reasons: one because it was such a beautiful healing process to witness this woman so happy to be hearing from her daughter and two I had shared my gift that I had learned through my healing process, and this had now been used for this incredible healing. I knew from that moment on, when I heard the name “Peter Pan” I would be smiling as I remembered this reading…the pain was gone. The woman hugged me and said I hope you do this forever because you are very good at it.
I promised the woman and myself that I would.

Hello Everyone!

Wow, are you feeling that energy shifting? Things seem to be moving at a fast pace yet oddly enough some projects that I have worked on as well as some my friends projects, seem to be at a stand still. I was talking to a friend about this strange feeling. I told her I felt as though I was busier than ever and how funny it was that I felt that I wasn’t getting to where I wanted to be fast enough. My friend shared with me that the same thing was happening in her life as well.

After our meeting I went home to ask the Angels what was going on. I felt that they were telling me that this is a time to enjoy the process of life more and that for the last four years everyone has been skipping through the process and jumping to the outcome and then quickly moving on to to the next thing. Where is the gratitude in that kind of life I thought? And then of course I know when I am busy there goes all of my quality time that I would normally spend with my friends and family. This period then to me is a time of reflecting and giving more thought about what we want in our lives and to be more detailed about it. One of the most important things around us are people so we of course need to reach out to one another more than we have in the past. These relationships are essential for our growth in all areas.

Allow yourself time to Day Dream. It is the child within us that helps us to connect to our true spirit of what it is we truly desire from this life. When I allowed myself to Day Dream I was connected to my love of helping children. Ever since I was five years old I told people that I would open a school one day where people could practice what it was that they were good at without being laughed at. My school, I told myself, would have no rules on how to paint or sing or dance, people could just express themselves the way they wanted.

Now I see that this is what I am doing right now. Helping people connect not to their loved ones and their angels which I am so glad to be of help in that area; but it also helps them discover what it is they want to do, what they want to share with us. My Day Dreaming experience also guided me back to my true passion of helping children so you will notice that children in need is where my company will constantly be giving financial support.

I feel blessed each day to have such a wonderful group of people to work with. By the way the International Angel Day class was amazing! That had a lot to do with Dayna, Josh, Viv, Crystal and America’s helping hands. So thank you my beautiful staff who when I am with make me feel so light on my feet and that anything is truly possible.

Hello Everyone!

Things are going so well this year! I have released my meditation CD, began writing my book and now I am hiring my first official employee in the fall. Her name is Dayna and I will post a blog upon her arrival in August.

I am also pleased to announce the class that we are putting together for the 7th of September for International Angel Day. I have been blessed with an amazing group of friends that will be helping me with the day’s event, therefore making the day even more special for everyone.

I want to close with saying that some of the additions I have made to my business this year have been inspired by all of the Angel Readings I have given along with the classes that I have taught the previous year. In those readings and classes the Angels were always guiding me to tell the individual/s to follow their dreams, to move forward on their vision and to believe that anything is possible. I then felt the need to follow this same advice and so far it has been an amazing journey into the unknown.

My wish for each one of you is that you follow your dreams. It is why we are all here, to share a gift. Please find the courage to share your gift with others today and remember to bring the Angels along as they love to help when ever and where ever they can.
